About Veronika Vítová

Veronika Vítová was born in Prague, graduated from the J. Ježek Conservatory and leads several projects.

One of them is a jazz band, which in the past has processed the music of Bill Evans (Tribute to Bill Evans). In 2011 she founded the vocal sextet Skety, which performs in clubs and festivals across the Czech Republic and Europe, has toured Taiwan (where they received second place in the international acappella competition) and Australia, in 2014 this sextet won the Czech Jirkovsky Písňovar, in 2014 at the prestigious international competition Vocal.Total in Graz and in 2017 it won two second prizes at the international acappella competitions in Aarhus, Denmark and Tampere, Finland.

Veronika is also a classical musician and collaborates as a soloist with Orchestra Berg and more recently with the trio Musica Panica, performing music of the Renaissance. She is a regular guest of the Jazz Dock Orchestra, which is the home big band of the Jazz Dock jazz club in Prague.
