Norwegian band Wardruna has announced dates for a European tour that will take place in November 2021. During the tour, Wardruna will promote their new album Kvitravn (White Raven), which will be released in 2021 by Sony Music / Columbia Germany. The Kvitravn album continues Wardruna's story where the Runaljod trilogy left off, but represents a new chapter in the development of the band's unique sound. The rich sound of Wardruna's new album is not only due to the use of historical instruments such as the kravik lyre, tagelharpha, horn and flute, but is also due to guest appearances by well-known Norwegian folk artists like Kirsten Bråten Berg. The eleven songs on Kvitravn tell stories full of Nordic magic, guiding animals, nature and the wisdom that runs through the myths, sagas and songs of the North. In Poland Wardruna has in previous years visited, among others, the Shakespeare Theatre in Gdansk and the Song and Dance House in Zabrze. As the creator of the music for the popular TV series Vikings, Einar Selvik, the leader and founder of Wardruna was also the star of the Film Music Festival in Krakow in 2015.
