Twisted, off-kilter, kinky and against the grain, such are the most local wrappers after Leon Lewandowski. This last pre-war fiddler on the Prosna left behind an astonishing oberek repertoire, a testament to the musical madness of a bygone world. He is a musician who followed a traditional path, from following cows and eavesdropping on wedding music under the window, through clay dances with just the basses, to a reputation as a first-class fiddler playing with acclaimed harmonists. A field film of a recording of his playing will be shown and then his music will be thrown into the workshop. It is advisable to have your own violin or other instrument and be able to repeat the tune by ear. Moderated by Mateusz Raszewski.
