Yo La Tengo have been one of America's most beloved bands for nearly four decades. The legendary indie trio consisting of Ira Kaplan, Georgia Hubley & James McNew are set to release their new – already sixteenth – studio album This Stupid World in February on the renowned independent label Matador Records. Over the years, Yo La Tengo have played shows in the most renowned concert halls and on the biggest festival stages, dominated the annual charts of leading music magazines and critics, recorded the iconic intro for The Simpsons, starred as the Velvet Underground in I Shot Andy Warhol… and above all, their adventurous eclecticism, defiant independence and restless creative ambition have endeared them to millions of fans around the world. They return to Prague with the new album as well as their greatest hits on Monday April 24th.
