Zanele Muholi has been documenting the lives of South Africa's black LGBTQIA+ community in intimate photographs since the early 2000s.
Central themes of the exhibition are such as sexual politics, racial violence, community resistance and self-assertion. Muholi's photographs are challenging to the heteronormative gaze while opening up a network of relatibility.
