The concert of Zgniłość and Szklane Oczy in the RE club in Krakow.
Zgniłość is a band founded by Marcin Świetlicki, a Krakow-based poet, and Michał Wandzilak, a pianist (Świetliki). They invited young jazzmen from the Tri-City area to cooperate: saxophonist Michał Ciesielski and trumpeter Dawid Lipka (Tymon Tymański’s brass section), bassist Maciej Sadowski and drummer Tomasz Koper. Rottenness was hatched from the band Jazztliki playing jazz covers of Świetliki’s greatest hits. The current musical trajectory of Rot could be described as post-post-ironic-post-cold-wave-postyass. The line-up boldly refers to the best Pomeranian and Cracow musical traditions.
Szklane Oczy are three young girls playing rock inspired by Polish punk, romantic poetry and psychedelia. Ania (vocals and electric guitar), Aga (bass and backing vocals) and Ola (drums) met in 2016 in the basement of the middle school Ola attended. Since then they have been writing, composing, recording songs, and most importantly, performing a lot – in clubs, pubs, bars, power plants, the zoo, at festivals. In 2018 they performed in the Agnieszka Osiecka Studio, winning an episode of the three-part program Start NaGranie, won the competition Dzielnica Brzmi Dobrze, obtaining the patronage of Katowice City of UNESCO Music. They became famous playing support before the Italian band Maneskin.
