About Zuzanna Bartoszek

Zuzanna Bartoszek is an artist and poet. In 2016, she published her debut book of poems Niebieski dwór. In July 2021, her second book of poetry, entitled Klucz wisi na Słońcu, was published by WBPiCAK. Bartoszek's texts are full of cascading, paradoxical images and visions of the internally complicated self. The artist juxtaposes classic poetic motifs with the crazy image of the 21st century. She has published her works in Twórczość, Małe Format, Wizja, Dwutygodnik, Lampa, and Biuro Literackie, among others. Her visual works (oil paintings, gouaches, and drawings) have been shown at exhibitions including the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, Kunsthalle in Zurich, Cell Project Space in London, Kevin Space in Vienna, Arsenic in Lausanne, Pina Gallery in Vienna, and LAW.
