About Bratři Ebenové
Bratři Ebenové (Eben Brothers), sons of composer Petr Eben and nephews of Ilja Hirník, do not belong to any specific style of music. Marek's combination of guitar, Kryštof's piano or flute, clarinet and soprano sax of David create a unique "Ebenesque" sound, enriched with even more other instruments.
It was already the late seventies when the Ebens entered the scene, and their music intertwined influences of classical, folk, rock and jazz elements with a sophisticated musical humor. Nowadays, their music is more mature and has lost nothing of its original charm.
