About Hania Rani

Hania Rani is a pianist, composer and vocalist. She co-creates the projects Hania Rani & Dobrawa Czocher (album Biała flaga 2015) and Tęskno, whose album Mi was honoured in 2018 with the Grzegorz Ciechowski Award and a nomination to the Fryderyks in the category Debut of the Year. Additionally, she cooperated and performed with such artists as Christian Löffler (project Nest), Hior Chronik, Igor Herbut, Kamp or Misia Furtak (album Co przyjdzie?).

Hania Rani has also performed on renowned concert stages, including the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, Funkhaus in Berlin, London's Roundhouse and festivals: Open'er, Eurosonic, Scope, Spring Break and Transatlantyk. She played several dozen concerts throughout Europe: in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Hungary, Portugal, the Netherlands, Lithuania, but also in Iceland and Turkey. For seven years he has been creating his own music, which has resulted in projects aimed at crossing the boundaries of genres and styles, e.g. new arrangements of John Dowland's songs for string quintet and soloists, music-acoustic project Preludium i Fuga na 3 akustyki or music for films and theatre performances (e.g. in 2018 for the performance Pradziady for Television Theatre).
