About Pennywise
Pennywise is an American punk band that was founded in California in 1988. They mix punk rock, melodic hardcore and skate punk. The founding members are Jim Lindberg, Fletcher Dragge, Jason Thirsk and Byron McMackin. The group named themselves after the clown from Stephen King*s It The band made their breakthrough with the album About Time in 1995. Since then, the band has been firmly established in the scene. They have performed at With-Full-Force in Germany and at numerous other major festivals.
