Venue description

Sternberg Palace is one of the exhibition spaces of the National Gallery. Several floors of the palace presents the best of national collections of art that is dating from ancient Greece and Rome through the Italian art of the 14th - 16 century to the arts of Italian, Spanish, French, Dutch, Austrian and German masters of the 16th - 18 century. The main attraction of the Sternberg Palace is one of the most famous works of European painting, Feast of the Rosary by Albrecht Dürer, which was made in Venice in 1506 and came to Prague thanks to Emperor Rudolf II.
