Jan P. Matuszynski’s film tells a story set in the dark era of the Polish political period, when a state of emergency was declared on December 13, 1981, and which controlled all aspects of life. The victim of this brutal period was a young man Grzegorz Przemyk, who was murdered by members of the communist police called Milicja Obywatelska. The blame for the death of the young boy was borne by the then government, which, however, tried to put the blame on the emergency services.
