Praga Sinfonietta Orchestra was founded by conductor Miriam Nemcova in 1990. It is composed of members of Prague's most important orchestras such as the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Symphony Orchestra (Prague Symphony), Czechoslovak Radio Orchestra (Symphony Orchestra), Orchestra of the National Theatre and State Opera. During its existence, the ensemble gained recognition in concerts at home and abroad (Italy, Austria, Germany, Denmark …) and has performed with many renowned conductors and soloists.
