Thin Lizzy is an Irish hard rock band hudení, which was founded in 1969 in Dublin. Frontman was until 1986 Phil Lynott, with whom the band recorded the greatest achievements of benefit to which the band today. After the tragic death of Phil's group went through several attempts to restore with guitarist Scott Gorhamem and John Sykes. Sykes, however, the group left in 2009. Lynott was the de facto leader of the group, was the author or co-author of most of their songs and one of the few dark-skinned men who achieved commercial success in hard rock.
Thin Lizzy could boast critically recognized guitarist, Lynott and Downey were in a band rhythm section (drums and bass guitar). Their music reflects a wide range of influences, including country, psychedelic rock and traditional Irish folk music, generally referred to as hard rock or sometimes as heavy metal.
