O Cimballica

The musical group Cimballica was founded in the year 2010 the violinist Philip Prechtlem, when he addressed the five musicians from Brno. Filip Prechtl is head of the band and also the author of all the arrangements. His main intention was to combine the genre of popular and film music, and thus for the listener to create a new musical experience that will excite and entertain. Cimballica brings original works, bold arrangements, unusual musical combinations, new image and the traditional notion of classical music, folk music and film music. Even the cast of the housing is slightly above and rather resembles a small Orchestra. Classical Cimbalom music arrangement is further expanded by violencello.

The band's repertoire is very extensive and Cimballica is definitely does not neither a purely folklore themes, which were the main repertoire at the time of its inception. However, listeners can especially enjoy the melodies influenced by film composer Hans Zimmer, or the Finnish cellovou formations, Apocalyptica.

During its short existence, Cimballica has several international concerts, particularly worth mentioning is the appearance on the prestigious classical music festival was in the last year.
