The Deutsche Symphonie Orchester Berlin was established in 1946 as a radio element in the American sector of Berlin. Today the wealth of their concerts and artistic quality has become irreplaceable within the German capital. The orchestra has been led by eminent conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Riccardo Chailly, Vladimir Ashkenazy and Kent Nagano.
