The Adam Mickiewicz Institute is a governmental cultural institution established in the year 2000 by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in cooperation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The aim of the Institute’s activities is to promote Polish culture in the world, cultural cooperation and dialogue with other countries. The Institute is co-responsible for the implementation of Poland’s foreign cultural policy, especially in terms of information and promotion.
