Not too long ago, Jeremy Zucker was sitting in his old nursery and did not know much about what to do. Ironically, he had just graduated in molecular biology and landed a hit with All The Kids Are Depressed with 500,000 copies sold. So that was freedom.
A dreamed musician's career can hardly start any better. And yet he was stuck here in New Jersey. So, Zucker made the best of it: music. His latest Comethru from his Summer-EP, released in September, is the perfect realization of this sense of isolation. The whole record reflects exactly this situation: finding a way out of tightness into an endless summer, in which one can do what it makes sense.
It was followed track by track, which eventually became the album Motions, sold-out tours through the US and a record deal. And still there is this sugar sweet music with the electronic approach, the acoustic guitar and the uncompromising lyrics.
In February Jeremy Zucker comes to Germany for two exclusive shows.
