Lester Jackman was born on the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, but from his 15-years lived in the U.S., where he studied piano at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He later returned to its roots - and calypso styles reegae and brilliantly mastered steeldrums native instrument. Currently lives in Scandinavia, where the band Bag of Rhythm composed predominantly of African-American musicians.
