Venue description

The Old Town Hall is a set of listed historical buildings (Jacob's House, Pawer's House, Unger's House, Apponyi Palace) belonging to the oldest in the town. It is located in the centre of Bratislava, between the Main Square and the Primatial Square. The complex of buildings of the Old Town Hall represents a unique architectural development of buildings from the 14th to the 20th century. There is a permanent exhibition of the city's history, exhibitions, events, lectures and educational programmes. Since 1868, the Town Hall has been the seat of the Museum of the City of Bratislava. The Old Town Hall and the Apponyi Palace form a museum complex, which can be entered through both buildings. A tour of the Old Town Hall and Apponyi Palace also includes the Old Town Hall Tower.
