The 1906 built power station Rummelsburg is an event location for various events including a beach, a restaurant and organizing parties in the evening. The building itself is an icon of industrial building culture in Germany and is preserved almost entirely in its original condition.
The site with around 18.000sqm effective area hosts a real sand beach with decorations that were especially manufactured for Rummelsburg in Thailand, 15 barbecue spaces and the wood house Casa di Legno, where Italian food is offered, besides the spacious power station hall.
The music offer during the evening parties spreads from soul and world over funk and rare to drum and beats.
Once per year, the Fly Watergate Open Air takes place at Rummelsburg.
