The New York City duo The Last Internationale has become a frequent guest of the mainstream rock festival cycle, augmenting their folk rock sound with socially conscious lyricism. Inspired by protest folk classics like Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, and Woody Guthrie, singer Delila Paz and guitarist Edgey write songs about the situation of the First Nations in the United States, war, working class poverty and other abuses of power. Their debut album, We Will Reign, was released on Epic Records in 2014. The record featured drummer Brad Wilk (Rage Against the Machine), who joined and toured with the band throughout the duration of that record cycle. Since then, they have released two more studio albums and shared stages with the likes of Robert Plant, Neil Young, The Who, Kings of Leon, Guns N' Roses, Scott Weiland, Weezer, One Republic, Tom Morello, Lenny Kravitz, Incubus, Royal Blood, The Cult, Rival Sons and many more.
